How long do bespoke shoes keep?

You wore and looked after three pairs of shoes alternately, the soles would have to be replaced after about 2 years. Sewing on a new sole can be carried out without any problem 2 to 3 times , after which a new welt (connecting leather band between sole and upper part) is sewn on, which can be resoled 2 to 3 times.

The lifespan of shoes is of course strongly influenced by the way the wearer walks and by his weight. Quickly wearing parts are the rubber heel tips. These must be replaced in time, before the heel leather is damaged.

There are several other parts which get worn quickly, which if recognised in time can be repaired again.
