Customizing For an additional fee we can customize our ready-made line to a client's foot in order to achieve a better fit. The shoe is worked over modified lasts, not subsequently stretched or “dressed”, as it is termed in the trade. The possibilities for alteration are limited and, generally speaking, can only be effected to eliminate pressure points and elevate the instep. The changes to the last are, of course, taken into account in the production of shoe trees. “PRET Customized” are not bespoke shoes because for the latter the last is made to fit the customer's foot right from the beginning thus leaving all fitting option open. |
